For over 25 years, Automated Tapping Systems’ sole business has been designing and building quality In-Die Tapping Units, for the Metal Stamping Industry. ATS was the first to produce a commercial In-Die Tapping Unit and continues to lead the industry, in service and engineering expertise. Our Direct Line Engineering and Manufacturing approach allows ATS to design, and build custom Tapping Units in week, rather than months.
Our goal at ATS is customer satisfaction from initial contact through designing and final production. We still provide the same courteous service to our new customers worldwide, as we have to our existing customers for over twenty-five years.
IN-Die Tapping
“In-Die” tapping heads for tapping in progressive dies on a punch press. Our tapping heads can cover a wide tapping range from #2-56 to 1-1/4″-12 or metric equivalent. We can also provide tapping heads for tapping multi-spindle hole patterns as well as our standard single spindle units.
